I have enjoyed millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent all kinds of funds at twenty-one. The gambling halls have made it nearly impossible to defeat the house.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets very thrilling on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this technique! And a few days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.

Wager $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager

Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 160 dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this instance you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
