I have played countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get rich with this method or defeat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a couple of years ago with $750 after 35 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 game.

Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet

Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you left at this moment you would be up three hundred and 15 dollars !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
