I have played millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started working my way into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of cash at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the casino, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You need to comprehend that you can lose much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a $5 table.

Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar wager

Bet 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 80 dollar bet

Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the first one hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and lower your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
