I have played countless of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this tactic! And a couple of weeks ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You must comprehend that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Wager five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet

Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet 10 dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20

Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 bet

Bet 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar

Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial $40 wager

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial eighty dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
