The question being pondered today is what is the future of the blackjack card counters. are the days of counting cards over? Many would say yes.
Automated shuffle machines are being used in todays tables which makes shuffle tracking or card counting impossible. The brick and mortar casinos are going to insert shuffling machines at the tables.
It’s stated that in places like Las Vegas, surveillance cameras are being used to monitor the abilities of the gamblers and smart black jack tables that keep tracks of players hands and game plans by utilizing magnetized chips.
The Control Board in Nevada, an agency that safeguards fair gaming has ruled that casinos may not adjust the games in a manner that would alter the frequency of the pay outs. Since then, many Nevada brick and mortar casinos instruct their croupiers to card count and shuffle whenever they want, also a wide variety of casinos retain information of card count, this information consists of names and pictures to try and keep them away from the game.
So what will be the outlook of this blackjack "battle"? is it just starting or will it quickly reach an end? Regardless of all their most recent tech, political and money affects, I believe there is a hope for a happy ending. With more than twenty-five states in the United States allowing twenty-one games, there are more profit opportunities for card counting than back in the good ole’ days.
